Kale Chips

Kale is a ‘super food’ due to its anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and cancer prevention benefits.  Kale or other cruciferous veggies (e.g., broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, bok choy, daikon radish, turnips, and mustard greens) also helps with detoxification as well as lowering cholesterol levels.  Packed with vitamins K, C and A, these are super easy to make and full of nutritional benefits.

  • 1 bunch of kale
  • 2-3 tablespoons of coconut oil, melted
  • seasoning:  garlic, sea salt, cayenne pepper,

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Wash, de-stem and tear kale leaves into 1 inch pieces
  • Dry kale pieces and mix in a bowl with melted coconut oil and seasoning of choice (I like garlic salt)
